William Howard Robinson - Able Seaman
W. Howard Robinson was born on May 8, 1925 in the small village of Bridgenorth, Ontario, where he attended school. Howard grew up on a farm and joined the navy in the Spring of 1943. He took his basic training at Kingston and HMCS Cornwallis and was discharged in January, 1946. Howard married Beulah Bulmer in 1946. They have two children, Gary married with three daughters, and Arlene, married with three sons. He bought a 200 acre farm through the Veterans Land Administration. Howard worked for the local municipality for 25 years and retired as road superintendent in 1988. He still retains part of the farm as a hobby and likes raising pheasants, quail and doves and doing some fishing. Howard also collects baseball caps and has about 225 in his collection. He is a member of the local Lions Club. He resides near Cavan, Ontario.

Howard and Beulah Robinson celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, June 3rd, 2006.

The reception was at St. John's Church, Ida, Ontario.
