JW62 - Convoy to Murmansk, Russia
This convoy of 31 ships sailed from Loch Ewe on November 29, 1944 and arrived without loss at the Kola Inlet on December 7.

Most of the 28 ships in the returning convoy (JW62) (mainly in ballast), left Kola Inlet on December 10, 1944 bound for Scapa Flow. The escort flotilla left the day before, with a Soviet destroyer, to clear the approaches.
