While I can't profess to be knowledgeable in this area, these utilities have been
helpful in my efforts to 'dumb down' the process of web page creation.
WEB PAGE EDITORS
DiDa! is an inexpensive editor, with a small footprint (i.e.
takes up little hard drive space). Older versions could run off a floppy. Here are two
places to get it.

WebEdit is more powerful, but was recently purchased by Luckman Interactive for exclusive
distribution. Ken Nesbitt, the original author, has
moved on to develop a shareware lock/unlock program (for programmers, not hackers). and a
programmer's aid to software debugging and development, called "Bug Collector".
